I want to go to Rhode Island School of Design REALLLLLLLLLY bad, I'd say my chances of getting in are about 50/50. It's very competitive--even for transfer students such as myself. I have a 4.0 and am in the Honors Program at my school though--that should help a bit. Well, I'll be applying for fall '14 transfer, so wish me luck! I'm also applying to SAIC and UC Berkeley. I still don't have a clear idea of what I want to do after I get my B.A. I've been watching the West Wing a lot lately, and the intelligence of the characters is what I aspire to. My head is full of bubbles right now.

Shit, it's time to go back to school. I'm taking an art history class and an acrylic painting class. I hope the acrylic class doesnt put me off as much as the oil painting class i took fresh out of high school did.

Google just unveiled their new project: Computer glasses! WOW! My friend was asking me for advice today and in regards to the advice that she solicited, i replied "Look at the world, not the way it's meant to be seen, for you risk exposing your audience to something they've already seen.  You want to invade their heads with new ideas.  Look at your subjects and exploit what we normally don't perceive.  A still life of an apple is a still life of an apple, but a still life of an apple seed is a still life of the life of the apple." I hope it made sense, but i'm going to take my own advice.  I guess it sounded better in the heat of the moment.
